The conference venue is located within 5 min walking distance from Freiburg (Breisgau) main station. Freiburg can be reached via international ICE and TGV connections. - by car:
Freiburg is connected to freeway A5 (Karlsruhe – Basel, exit ‘Freiburg Mitte’). However, parking space in proximity to the conference venue is limited. - by plane:
Freiburg can be reached via Basel EuroAirport, Zurich Airport, Strasbourg International Airport, and Frankfurt International Airport. Airports are connected to Freiburg via train (Zurich, Strasbourg, Frankfurt, 1-2 hours), bus (Basel, https://www.freiburger-reisedienst.de, 1 hour), or airport taxi (Basel, https://www.taxibund.de/airportservice, 1 hour). - no public transport in Freiburg April 18-19, 2024, due to strike
Please note that there will be a strike by the Verdi trade union on April 18-19, 2024. As a result, there will be no streetcars and, with a few exceptions, no buses on the VAG route network on both days. Long-distance services and the airport shuttle are not affected by these restrictions.
